Pomegranate Raita

A few weeks back i was watching the repeat telecast of Nigella Feasts where she was dishing out some Indian food. It was from here i picked up the Pomegranate Raita. The sweet/sour raita went well with the Tawa Pulao i made for lunch!

What goes:-
  • Curd- 1 cup
  • Pomegranates- as required
  • Onion - 1/2 (finely chopped)
  • Salt- to taste
  • Pepper Powder - to taste
Method:-

Whisk the curd well.

Add chopped onions ( you can also use scallions/spring onions)

Give it some edge by adding salt and pepper. Finally add Pomegranates along with the juice that comes while scooping out it from its skin.

Mix well. Raita is ready.

I Served it with Tawa Pulao... It will also be a good acompaniment for parathas/rotis
