Ingredients:-
- Full Cream Milk (1 lt)
- Sugar (3/4 cup, as per taste)
- Poppy Seeds (2-3 tsp)
- Grated Coconut (1 cup)
- Cashews (10-15 pieces)
- Saffron (few strands)
- Ghee/clarified butter (2-3 tsp)
- Nutmeg Powder (a pinch)
Method:-
Dry Roast Poppy seeds and grind it to a fine paste along with grated coconut and cashewnuts.

Soak the safrron strands in little hot milk and set aside.
Boil the Milk and let it simmer over low to medium flame until it thickens to three fouths of the original quantity.
Add Sugar and boil for a couple of minutes. Mix the ground paste to the boiling milk and stir well to avoid lumps. Add the saffron and mix well. Add a pinch of nutmeg powder and let it simmer for a few more minutes.
