Spicy Cheese Bread Omlette

This is one dish that is a sunday morning staple. My hubby's favourite, his version a little more spicier than my daughter's!

What goes:-

  • Egg - 2
  • Bread Slices - 2
  • Onion chopped - 25 gms
  • Green Chillis chopped - 1 to 2 - to taste
  • Cheese (grated) - 10 - 15 gms
  • Ginger juliennes - a small piece
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped - a few sprigs
  • Salt-  to taste
  • Pepper Powder - to taste
  • Butter/Ghee - little

How :-

Beat the egg well, till is is fluffy!

Add the ingredients including salt and beat well !

Heat a non stick pan/tava with a little butter/ghee and pour the mixture.

Wait till it is cooked and the top becomes 75% dry and add the bread slices to help the bread stick to the egg.

Spread a little butter/ghee on the bread and then flip it over.

Sprinkle pepper to taste. Fold in half and serve with Tomato sauce.

Have a healthy meal.
